Nigel Moody Nigel Moody

Nigel Moody, born in 1961, grew up in the Norfolk Broads where he now lives and works. His art education began at Great Yarmouth College of Art & Design and continued at Winchester School of Art, where he gained an honours degree in Fine Art.

Between 1989 and 1994 the artist was living in The Netherlands where he became influenced by the Dutch obsession with skating, particularly in Freezeland - an influence which has found expression in miniature skating scenes, set in Freezeland.

The Faith has influenced me (the artist became a Baha'i in 1986) inasmuch as, whenever I produce a piece of artwork, whatever the subject or medium might be, I endeavour to do my best and create something of beauty that will move the hearts, bearing in mind such words of Baha'u'llah: "As for what the supreme Pen hath previously set down, the reason is that in every art and skill, God loveth the highest perfection."

This site is jointly produced and maintained by James Herbert and The Vision Factory. All art is copyright of the respective artist.
