Love is not a cause for peace. Passion produces grief and death. "The leviathan of love swalloweth the master of reason and destroyeth the lord of knowledge" - Baha'u'llah. This painting tries to show this destruction like fire consuming logic and reason (seen in the checkerboard design). This part of the journey is essential in order to enter the next Valley.
