Getting to the wedding...
We are getting married at the Britannia Newcastle Airport Hotel, it is located on the site of Newcastle International Airport and has its own car park (free for guests). If arriving at the airport by public transport the hotel is at the far right end of the car park as you walk out of the main terminal building.
Flights are available from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London Stansted. British Airways operate from Heathrow and Gatwick with some fares still remaining at under £100 incl. tax, easyJet fly from Stansted with return fares from just under £70. Flight prices generally rise as the date of travel nears. Direct flights are also available from Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, Isle of Man, Jersey, Southampton and some international destinations.
Please note that the ceremony will begin fairly promptly at 6pm, you should aim to be at the Britannia Hotel for approximately 17:30. The last flights from London arriving before the ceremony on the 10th April depart 11:20 from Stansted and 12:00 from Heathrow. There are no late return flights so overnight accomodation will be required, return flights are available from about 07:00 on the 11th.
Please note that it is not uncommon for trains to run late from both north and south of Newcastle. You can use National Rail Enquiries to check and book services to Newcastle, that will get you to Central station from where you can take the Metro directly to the airport.
